REGISTRATION

Registration for the Fall 2026 season is available! Our soccer program is designed to allow players of all skill levels to compete alongside peers in their schools and their communities. Whether your child is brand new to soccer or a seasoned veteran, we are a great place to have fun and learn the Beautiful Game while making friends and lifelong memories.

The deadline to register is July 26th, with games beginning Saturday, September 12th. All teams will play eight games over the course of the season, with U9+ teams playing at least two games during the Tournament of Champions the weekend of October 30 - November 1st. Depending on the size of your team’s division, you may have “bye” weeks (Saturday without a game) as well as weekends with double-headers (Saturday with two games).

Regular season games take place on Saturdays, with coaches scheduling practices during the week. Your assigned coach will reach out to you with details about practice times and locations. For more information about your team or division, contact your age group commissioner.

Returning players will be assigned to the same team from last season. New players or players who did not play last season will be assigned to a new team based on their school, zip code, or neighborhood.

REGISTRATION FEES

4U-8U: $75 per player. Includes jersey, insurance, referee costs & state fees. No discount for more than 1 child; 8 game season

9U-14U: $95 per player. Includes uniform, insurance, referee costs & state fees. No discounts for more than 1 child; 8 game season

15U+: $95 per player. Payment will ONLY be processed if we can field teams for the season

AGE CHART

Playing age group is the basis for how we form teams. You will find the age group on the schedule and other places. Each year your child gets older, they will increase the playing age group classification. Please see the chart to find your child playing group. You can find your Age Group Commissioner, who is in charge of your group, here.

Buddy Requests

BUDDY REQUESTS

For players in U8 and below who are participating with HOT for the first time, you may submit a Buddy Request. The following criteria must be met in order for the Buddy Request to be considered.

Only one designated player may be requested under the buddy request system.
Both players must submit a buddy request for each other.
Both players must agree to be placed in the player pool regardless of previous team affiliation.
At least one of the two players has not participated in recreational soccer with HOT or North Texas Soccer Association.
Buddy requests must be submitted during the regular registration period. These requests will not be honored if registered during late registration.
Buddy requests should be submitted via the notes section of the registration form. If you fail to submit during registration, you will need to reach out to your Age Group Commissioner for further guidance. Age Group Commissioners and their contact information can be found on our Board of Directors page.

HELPFUL INFORMATION

All players are entitled to 50% playing time in a game.
Shin guards are required for a player to participate in a game.
No baseball cleats are allowed (Baseball cleats have a toe cleat).
No steel cleats allowed.
No jewelry of any kind can be worn while participating at H.O.T.
